Are You Curious about the Annual Show & Sale?
Note: The HGB Annual Fiber Art Show & Sale has been postponed to November 3-7, 2021 due to current circumstances of COVID-19.
A series of meetings about preparing for the Sale are being hosted this summer by the Sale Technology Committee. The meetings are designed especially for people who are newcomers to the Sale, or who have participated before but still would like a little guidance or advice. The meetings will be open to prospective HGB members as well as current members.
Four different topics will be covered over the course of the summer and early fall: (1) Sale 101: An Overview; (2) Complying with the Standards; (3) Using the Different Computer Programs; and (4) What to Expect at Check-In and Check-Out. See the home page for a listing of upcoming events.
Because of the current social distancing requirements, that meeting will be held via Zoom, and it will be a combo of short pre-recorded pieces alternating with live Q & A. We will be very happy to work individually ahead of time with anyone who hasn’t yet had experience with using Zoom.If you’d like to attend any of the sessions, email salehelp@handweaversofboulder.org for Zoom meeting details, and do please let us know in that email if you’d like some help setting up Zoom.
