This textured cross body bag is the perfect accessory to complete your outfit or gift it to your favorite friend or relative. Once you learn this technique, you’ll want to make more and more of these gems.

Beth will guide you step by step through the wet felting process as you create your very own unique cross body handbag.

In this one- day workshop you will learn:

• How to work with a closed resist to make seamless felt
• How to make an inside pocket in a purse
• How to layout multiple layers of wool so as not to create edge thickness
• How to create interesting textures
• How to attach grommets, magnetic snaps and a leather cord

Skill level: Advanced beginner/intermediate. 
Students should be familiar with how to lay out wool roving for wet felting. 

Material Fee: None
Beth will provide the handbag handle and clasp.

Current HGB Members receive priority on Workshop registration. Non-Members will be placed on a waiting list and contacted by the Programs Chair.

Cancellation/Refund Policy: Workshop fees are payable to HGB and due with the registration form. Refunds are made only if another or (wait list) person can fill your space. If the workshop is canceled by HGB, you will receive a full refund.

Health and Safety Information: Wearing masks for COVID mitigation will be decided by the workshop teacher in conjunction with all state and local laws and regulations.   Even if not required, the workshop leader may mandate mask wearing at all times.
