2026 Special Interest Show & Sale Focus Groups

The Standards Committee is hosting two focus group meetings providing opportunities for Member Artists to inform Standards about how techniques could better be defined and what Standards they want to see enforced within that technique. 

If you create with these techniques, we want your expert input!

The topics open in both meetings are:
Upcycled items as a provisional category in the Item Classification List
Quilting/Piecing/Applique- Refining technique and definition in the Technique list

These meetings will be  virtual on Google Meet  and will be held on: 

• Friday, January 30, 2026 11am-12pm
• Friday, February 13, 2026 3-4pm

The timeline for suggestions is January through March.
